Dallas, Texas (March 1, 1994)--Merit Software and U.K. software development house Zeppelin Games jointly announce the eminent release of the exciting new puzzle, game "Sink or Swim." The star of this new venture is none other than celebrity wanna be Rork Storm. Loaded with superb graphics and addictive play, Sink or Swim is designed to keep players involved for hundreds of hours as they attempt to weave their way through the 60 puzzles included in the game. This new offering has been compared favorably to Lemmings,tm but goes way beyond that product by providing an exciting plot to maneuver through. The Story-line of "Sink or Swim" The SS Lucifer, complete with a cargo of Dim passengers, has been badly holed by an iceberg off of the east coast of Greenland. Hearing the news while relaxing on his small, isolated Sea Rescue Station, located just north of Iceland, our hero springs into action. Rork climbs on aboard his Explorer-class Submersible. He is equipped for a daring rescue mission. As the emergency lighting bathes the embattled ship in an eerie glow, Rork realizes he has big problems. In fact, he has a whole teetering shipload of them! Dim passengers are invading the engine room. They are fleeing the numerous fires throughout the ship. Pistons in the engine room have gone haywire. Pipes have burst. Torrents of scalding steam are cascading everywhere. Then, there's the not-so-small matter of 70,000 gallons of ice-cold sea water pouring into the hull faster than the pumps can throw it out. Of course, Rork Storm could run for it. But he isn't that sort of hero. Additional information on Sink or Swim may be obtained by contacting Roddy McGinnis or John Rizzuti at the phone numbers listed above. Sink will retail for $39.95 and will be available at all major software retailers.
