Here's a neat flight model that I created using Chuck Dome's Aircraft
Modifier 2.2. It's based on the MS FS 5.0a Learjet. This plane will look the
same as the normal Learjet but it doesn't fly like it. To load this plane,
copy the LERMACH2.AIR file into your FLTSIM5\SIM directory. You should then
have access to it from the "Aircraft" menu option in side of the MS Flight
Simulator program. Look for the Learjet with the file name LERMACH2. This
file was created for use with MS Flight Simulator 5.0a. It may now work
without the 5.0a patch.
I made some major changes to the learjet flight model. I added an
additional two engines, brining the total up to four. Each of the engines now
produces about twice as much thrust as the stock Learjet engine's did. The
total thrust output is aprox. 3.5 times the original's. This jet is striped
down & weighs 2000 lbs less. I also reduced the wing area from 253 sq ft to a
mere 90 sq ft. To compensate for the loss of lift I enlarged the flaps by a
factor of two. You may want to use full flaps for takeoff and landings.
Under certain circumstances this aircraft will approach mach II. It's
stall speed seems to be around 200 knots. High speed landings are a the norm,
so I installed over sized spoilers and beefed up the landing gear. Landing
can be quite a challenge & very long runways are required.
This plane was built for speed not handling. It has some nasty flight
characteristics that can make flying this beast quit a challenge. Get this
puppy in a spin at low altitude at 1000 knots & your in big trouble.
   Hope you enjoy this plane.

         The DOC <+> Chris
