***Note***: KeyLog! and KeyLog are two totally different names! KeyLog! is
the enhanced version of KeyLog, while KeyLog itself is the original program.
Whenever you see the "!" in KeyLog, then you know it is the enhanced version.

Introduction:
     KEYLOG!.EXE is a Windows 3.x/95 version 2.5 of a freeware utility that
records keystrokes. It is the successor of the original KeyLog by Mike Ellis.
There are newer and better features in this program. To quit the program, all
you need to do is press CTRL-ALT-DEL and end the program called -KiDViD-.
-KiDViD- is KeyLog's name in disguise.

What it does:
ALL ascii keystrokes are recorded to an ascii file on C:\WINDOWS\TEMP.
You can use this program to check who has done what on your PC. History files
are retained with the time and date encoded in the name, for example,
10300120.97W would be a history file created at 10:30 AM on Jan. 20,1998. When
you first run KeyLog!, it will create C:\WINDOWS\TEMP directory if it doesn't
already exist. You should take care to erase history files when no longer
needed frequently since these files will contain a record of ALL ascii
keystrokes, even if the application intentionally does not echo them to the
screen. Please distribute this freeware version freely. Please send comments
about this program to us if you want to thank us for making this program for
you. We want to know how many people like this program.

What you need to do:
The program comes with three files. You are reading the KEYLOG!.TXT file
now. Unzip the self-extracting KEYLOG25.EXE file to C:\ ONLY! The
reason is because when it self extracts, it distributes the following files to
specified directories:

1. KeyLog!.exe ... C:\Windows\Temp
2. KeyLog!.txt ... C:\Windows\Temp
3. KeyLog!.reg ... C:\Windows\Temp
4. Qpro200.dll ... C:\Windows\System

If you want to disguise the program, rename KEYLOG!.EXE file. For more info,
type: 'Keylog!.exe -info' in File|Run/Start Menu|Run. A DOS version of this
program is also available from Mike Ellis.

Questions and Answers:

Q. How do I make KEYLOG!.EXE run automatically?
A. Either double-click KEYLOG!.REG or put KEYLOG!.EXE into the startup folder.

Q. What the heck is KEYLOG!.REG? How do I use it? Do I have to use it?
A. KEYLOG!.REG is a Win95 registry file in which it will automatically run
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\KEYLOG!.EXE after Windows95 loads. Similar to the Startup
folder. Just double-click on it. If you renamed KEYLOG!.EXE, then you
should edit KEYLOG!.REG file with Notepad and change where it says
'KeyLog!.exe' to what you renamed it to. Just double-click on it and
it'll do the rest for you. You don't have to use it... this is just to
simplify things for people who want it to automatically run after Windows95
loads. Similar to Startup folder, but more invisible.
