Mah Jongg Tile Set Description Tile Set Name: MONSTERS.TIL Subject: Monster in my Pocket (created by Morrison Entertainment Group) Created by: Scott Hutchins Description: Monsters are especially wondrous to look at. Morrison's Monster in my Pocket has some of the best likenesses of monsters from folklore, novels, religion, mythology, and phenomenon. None of these monsters come solely from movies. I have included forty-two monsters from at least ninety-six. Don't worry, I'm not even sure where every single one came from, but Morrison could tell you. This tile set uses the same method of substitution used in FLAGS.TIL (on the regular Mah Jongg disk). This is a substitution by replacing suites with other suites as follows: Miscellaneous monsters (replaces suit of dots): 1) Hydra 2) Ymir (actually an evil monster) 3) Sebeck (see above) 4) Tyrannosaurus Rex 5) Griffin 6) Herne the Hunter 7) Lochness Monster 8) The Beast (from Beauty... By Mme. Marie Le Prince de Beaumont) 9) Ganesha Replacing the White Dragon: 10) Bigfoot Good Monsters (replaces suit of bamboo): 11) Mr. Hyde (also known generically as Mad Scientist) 12) Golem 13) Gremlin 14) Mummy 15) The Phantom (of the Opera) 16) Vampiress 17) Swamp Beast 18) Jotun Troll 19) Invisible Man Replacing the Green Dragon: 20) Dragon (get the joke? This is a Morrison character, though.) Evil Monsters (replaces suit of characters): 21) Minotaur 22) Ghost 23) Cerberus 24) Cyclops 25) Charon 26) Karnak 27) Tengu 28) Windigo 29) Ogre Replacing the Red Dragon: 30) Haniver (another joke, as Hanivers were cut up and dried rays sometimes called baby dragons.) "Super Scary" Monsters [+ 1 Evil] (replaces suit of winds) 31) Blemmyea 32) Nuckelavee 33) Bash Tchelik 34) Zombie (another Evil monster.) Good Leaders (replaces suit of seasons): 35) Vampire 36) The Monster (of Frankenstein) 37) Hobgoblin 38) Werewolf Evil Leaders (replaces suit of flowers): 39) Warlock 40) Spring-Heeled Jack 41) Spectre 42) Medusa
