********** Welcome to Puzzler. *********** Puzzler is a program that allows to solve Jigsaw type puzzles in a high realistic look and feel. Everything you need to do, you do it with the mouse. *With left button you can pick move and drop the pieces. * With right button you activate the graphic menu for the objects in the screen, so you see witch actions can perform and you can activate them. (When you see a menu, each item displays in blue text witch key or key combination does the same function, for example, to rotate a piece you see "Ctrl+Click <-- ". This means you should press the Control key and -without releasing it- press the left mouse button.) By now, probably i'ts the first time you try the program. The first thing you need to do, after reading this, is open a puzzle: When you leave this window, a new one will appear with a little image for each puzzle you can open. Select one of the icons that appears by double clicking over it. The puzzle begins load. The first time it will be decompressed so you will see a notice saying it. This process inflates the puzzle file so next time will not need decompression and the loading process will be faster. Once the puzzle is loaded you will see the pieces spreaded over the screen. Pick up any piece with left mouse button and drag or rotate where you want. When you put together two matching pieces they get locked one to other. The rest is up to you until you get the puzzles solved or exits the program. Before exit the program, you can save the current game's situation so the next time you can continue with it: Press right mouse button with the cursor over the screen (not over a puzzle's piece) and select "Save" or "Save As". You can specify a new name for the saved puzzle situation. Then if you select open you will see a new icon for the saved puzzle. HINT: Puzzlers works on any screen resolution under Windows. However the best performance is achieved in 800x600 resolution with 256 colors. (If you are in other resolutions and find messages about not enough memory, try setting up this resolution on your computer). *******ABOUT THE PROGRAM******* The program itself is free, this means that you can use it without restrictions exception mentioned below. The program uses puzzle files. Five of these files are in the same package where you found this program. Each one of the puzzles comes with five different difficulty levels (more difficult more pieces). You will see this when opening a puzzle at the bottom of each image it's shown the number of rows & columns. The package of puzzle-files has some limitations until you register the package. (Register the package means that, if you like it and find it worth, you pay a little amount to get full functionality). These limitations are: In the puzzles there is a limit in the number of pieces you can solve. When you reach this amount a message will appear telling you that if you want continue you should register. When a puzzle is limited in this way appears the word "Demo" over the image.
