Installation of Language Modules ================================ Each language module comes in its .ZIP files and contains files in subdirectories. ***************** *** IMPORTANT *** ***************** The subdirectory structure MUST be reconstructed by using the "-d" flag of pkunzip (or the "Use Directory Names" option in WinZip). Example: cd c:\ewords pkunzip -d french.zip If you received "overwrite" messages regarding this file (readme2.txt) you must have unzip'ed a language module incorrectly!! Currently Supported Languages (Aug 95) are: =========================================== English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Greek, Hebrew, Yiddish, Hungarian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Czech, Turkish. Where to Find Earth Words Language Modules ========================================== The Earth Words language modules can be downloaded from the following sources: 1. From Earth Words home page on the World Wide Web at http://www.execpc.com/~rtls/ewords. 2. By ftp from ftp.magic.ca /rtls/ewords/languages. 3. From CompuServe foreign language forum (FLEFO). 4. From your nearest BBS or the same source you acquired this package. The file names of the language modules are of the form "EW.ZIP" where is a four letter abbreviation of the language. For example, EWFREN.ZIP is the French module, EWSPAN.ZIP is the Spanish module and EWRUSS.ZIP is the Russian module.
