INSTALLATION

Color by Numbers requires an IBM compatible computer running Windows 3.1. A 256
color or better display is recommended for best results. (If you have a 16 color
display, for example, the light blue color used in the game will be displayed as
a pattern of blue and white dots instead of a solid color).

To install CBN, make a new directory on your hard drive (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN)
and copy all of the CBN files to it. Then, you can either run the program from
the Program Manager or File Manager menu (using the Run... option), or you can
install its icon in the Program Manager by opening the Games group, and selecting
the New... option in the File menu. Click OK in the first window, then fill in the
next window by typing "Color by Numbers" in the first box, type the path to the
CBN program in the second box (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN\CBN.EXE), and type the
directory where you copied CBN in the next box (Example: C:\GAMES\CBN). Then
click OK. The CBN icon should appear in the Games window, and double clicking
that icon should start the game.

Detailed instructions can be accessed by selecting the Instructions... option
in CBN's Help menu.
