But as ever, you are free to distribute it to anyone you like... CHANGES from v1.0 to v1.1: - New: You can now double-click another module while having a Midas Player running. There will be no second player or an error message. The first player will then load the selected module. You just mustn't select multiple modules via the explorer and then double click onto the selection! Note: This feature currently doesn't work under Windows NT. I don't have NT installed, so I can't test that... If there's enough requests, I'll try to fix it... - New: Position/Row display. Left-click on the time display to change between time and position display. Time display: white, position display: yellow. The type of display is saved on exit and restored the next time you start the player. - New: Songend-detection. User-selectable via the system menu (check the "Detect Song-End" menu item). Automatically loads & plays the next module after the previous has finished. After the last module finished, playback will be stopped. - Bugfix: When running from commandline, it's your choice to put quotation marks (") around the filename, so all of the following commands are valid: Midas95.exe e:\music\mod\drax\2 homies.xm Midas95.exe "e:\music\mod\drax\2 homies.xm Midas95.exe e:\music\mod\drax\2 homies.xm" Midas95.exe "e:\music\mod\drax\2 homies.xm" just as you want! - Bugfix: Now window display mode (standard/mini/micro) is also saved on exit and restored the next time you start the player. - Bugfix: Removed "Maximize" and "Resize" menu items from the system menu. - Bugfix: Fixed bug that made the main window disappear after you closed it while being iconified in the task bar - Bugfix: There was a bug in the dialog where you could select the output mode (8/16bit, mono/stereo). Now the mode you selected is actually used! UNINSTALL NOTICE: In case you want to remove the player completely from your harddisk (you really want that?), here's the instructions how to do it: (Real uninstall support will be added in the next version!) - Start Midas95. Go to Options dialog (in System menu) - Select the "Shell Associations" tab and remove all checkmarks. Select Okay. - Quit Midas95. - Start the Registry editor. (Start menu/Execute/"regedit") - Now delete the whole key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Abyss\MIDAS95" (and) "HKEY_USERS\\Software\Abyss\MIDAS95". (just in case you have multiple users on your Windows system) ADDITIONAL NOTE: In case you started Midas95 and the main window won't show up, (this never happened to me, just to inform you) delete the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Abyss\Shell\m_hWnd" REQUEST: If there's anyone out there to draw a decent icon for Midas95, I would very much appreciate this. Send it to me via e-mail. Of course you will get full credits in the About...-Box!
