Hangman Jr is the latest educational program from ALSTON SOFTWARE LABS. 
This Windows program associates pictures and images with words for the 5 - 9
year old audience. Using positive reinforcement techniques only, children cannot
misspell words or get "hanged." Instead, they are constantly  rewarded for each 
word they spell. The images used are easily recognisable by kids. 

Hangman Jr is Mom & Dad programmable. Unlike conventional hangman style
games, Hangman Jr does not have a fixed dictionary. Adding words and  images 
is easy, since it processes Windows standard BMP files. 

The shareware distribution version comes with an ANIMALS picture/word set. 
Purchasers of Hangman Jr will also receive 200 additional pictures that 
encompass food items (nutritional items -- fruits, veggies, etc.), common
household items ( scissors, thread, etc. ), sports ( baseball, football, etc. ), other 
common images ( car, skates, etc. ) and images from items around  the world 
( castle, windmill, etc. ). 

(Sorry, but these are impossible to distribute via shareware channels. They
would take too much space.)
