The purpose of Whiskers is to enable the right mouse button to act like the
enter key of the keyboard. Whiskers will work with all Windows applica-
tions. With Whiskers, working with dialog boxes is very fast. Most dialog
boxes have a default button and if you press the Enter key of the keyboard
that button is activated. With Whiskers you can press the right mouse
button instead of moving the mouse to press the default button or taking
your hand off the mouse to press the Enter key of the keyboard. By keeping
your hand on the mouse you save a lot time as you do your work.

To install Whiskers, copy all of the files to the directory where you want
Whiskers to be. Then use the File Manager or Program Manager to start
Whiskers, using the Whiskers.exe file. Whiskers.exe uses another file
(included with Whiskers) named Rodent.exe. The Rodent.exe is a DLL or
Dynamic Linked Library. Be sure to keep the Whiskers.exe and Rodent.exe in
the same directory.

To run Whiskers, double click on its icon in the Program Manager or the
Whiskers.exe file in the File Manager. Another Whiskers icon will appear
at the botton of your screen. At this point Whiskers is running and the
right mouse button clicks are being captured and turned into Enter keys.

If you have an application that uses the right mouse button, you can UN-
CAPTURE the right mouse button by single left clicking on the Whiskers icon
at the bottom of the screen, then select the WHISKERS OFF command from the
system menu. Notice that the icon at the bottom of the screen has changed
to a Whiskers icon without bars. You can turn Whiskers on and off as much
as needed. A shortcut for selecting the WHISKERS ON or WHISKERS OFF command,
is to double click on the icon at the bottom of the screen.

The Rodent.exe has been marketed separately in the past as an Excel add in.
If you have purchased the Rodent for Excel, you must replace all old copies
of the Rodent.exe with the new version of Rodent.exe from the Whiskers disk.
Excel will work with the new Rodent.exe the same way it did with the old
Rodent.exe. The Excel version of the Rodent and Whiskers may be run separ-
ately or at the same time. They will share the new Rodent.exe file.

On the invoice order form, you will notice two more software titles. These
products are MS PC Excel add in DLL's. Each of the DLL's are started from
an Excel macro. The Rodent DLL is just like Whiskers. The Rat-Pak also
sets the right mouse button to act like to Enter key, but also includes
Shift, Control and Shift/Control combinations with the right mouse button.
The Shift and Control combinations are assigned to three user definable
macros. This feature of the Rat-Pak is very powerful and flexible.
