New System Requirements ----------------------- * MS DOS 3.0 and higher is required for GRAB to find the style sheets and comment line files. * LaserJet and compatible laser printers are required to use the postal bar codes and graphic logos. New Features ------------ * The ability to customize GRAB Plus for a particular printer has been enhanced greatly with this release. Explanation of the new features are on the following pages of this supplement. * You may also print postal bar codes as well as graphic logos if you're using one of the Hewlett Packard LaserJet II and newer printers or clones. * You may now run the GRABCFG configuration program while GRAB is loaded in memory. * The main menu no longer contains the "Size" selection. * You now have control of using "Style Sheets" for various configurations of GRAB Plus. We have included a large variety of sample style sheets for your selection. The style sheets cover most of the various configurations for GRAB Plus. A description of each style sheet can be found at the end of this supplement. You may now select completely different configurations for GRAB by pressing the Style Sheet command key combination while GRAB is popped up. You will be shown a pick list of your available style sheets. Using this method, you can print an envelope on your LaserJet and then call a different style sheet to print a label on a dot-matrix printer attached to a different printer port on your computer. * You may also have a series of comment lines stored on disk for instant retrieval by pressing the Comment line command key combination. These comment lines may be typed in while you are in the GRABCFG program. _____________________________________________________________ (SDA format (c)Copyright 1990 The SDN Project - SDNet/Works!) _____________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________
