What's New
----------

1. All file and directory routines have been re-written for greater speed.
Loading and saving a file on a hard disk is up to nine times faster.

2. Beginning with version 2.0, you may use the `total marks' method of
grading. To use this method, just don't enter any test weights! For
more details, read the list of version changes at the end of MTG.DOC.

3. Laptop users couldn't easily distinguish the cursor when editing. The
cursor normally displays white lettering on a red background. To change
this to a white on black background, press Alt-B at any menu or on one
of the edit screens. Alt-B toggles back and forth between the two cursor
attributes. To save the cursor attribute for next time, just be sure to
visit the `Change setup' menu before ending the session. Just go there
and then exit to the Main Menu; the new setting will be saved.

As well, all menu items now use bright white to highlight the currently
selected menu item and the mouse cursor is now a white diamond (for the
   benefit of laptop users).

4. Many other minor fixes and changes have been made. For example, AT users
(286 and above) will find the keyboard repeat speed has been increased to
help move around the edit screens a little faster.

5. New price. The price has been lowered from $49 Cdn ($42 US) to $37 Cdn
($32 US). MTG is also being distributed as a completely functional
shareware package for the first time.
