***eXpLoIt MIHIR'S GUIDE FOR MAKING UNACCESSIBLE DIRECTORIES*** (ThAt'S ExCePt yOu!) No Special Softwares needed execpt win95/98 with dos prompt __________________________________________________________________________ *FOR CREATING UNACCESSIBLE FOLDER* STEP 1) Create new directory "c:\test" Copy your "special" files to directory "c:\test".(I SAY COPY. NOT MOVE. THIS IS FOR TESTING) STEP 2) GO TO "START Button"> Programs > "MS-DOS Prompt". STEP 3) Type "cd\" Now, you will enter root directory of c: Type and practise following "codes" Alt+2,3,1 (Type 2,3,1 no.s on keypad with numlock on in series with alt pressed) There will be greek "torque" (greek char.) displaying. Alt+1,9,7 Alt+1,7,9 Alt+1,7,4 Alt+7,1,4 Alt+9,3,6 Alt+7,3,5 Alt+7,5,9 Alt+4,6,5 Alt+4,2,6 Alt+7,8,9 Alt+7,3,1 Alt+9,4,3 Alt+1,9,4 Each code has its unique char. You will see that char in machine code on your screen. I think practice is enough. You can also make your own codes. But above codes are tested. STEP 4) Push "Backspace" until all codes disappear. Now remember one of above code. Suppose yoor code is Alt+1,9,4. STEP 5) Type below carefully in dos prompt: "ren test (your code i.e Alt+1,9,4)test" (There is gap between first test and your code and no gap between code and second test) After typing, Press enter. Type "dir" and press enter. Your directory test is now renamed as(your code)test. Type "exit" and press enter. You are returned to windows. STEP 6) Open My Computer. Double click on (C:) icon. You will see "_test" folder. Double click it. Windows unable to open it. You will get error "'c:\_test' does not exist" ALL DONE! YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CREATED UNACCESSIBLE FOLDER. *TO OPEN UNACCESSIBLE FOLDER* GO TO MS DOS PROMPT (SEE ABOVE STEP 2). Type "cd\" and press enter to go root directory. Type "cd (Your code)test". Type "dir" and press enter. You can see your "special" files. Do following steps to make that folder accessible to windows. When you enter MS DOS prompt, Type "cd\" and press enter. After that type following, "ren (your code)test test" and press enter. type "exit" and press enter. Your folder is now accessible to windows. HOPE YOU FIND THIS INTERESTING.
