IRC Server for mIRC (localhost)
Version 3.1
Developed by: Patrice Chevee (patcheve@aol.com)
Services by: Boris Dinkevich (murkin@mystical.net)
ports: 6666-6669, 7000
------------------------------
Historically, this server was dedicated to test scripts without requiring
any connection to the Internet.
Special thanks to John Joseph, who allowed me to perform reverse engineering
on his server for Window (available at http://www.wircsrv.com), so that I
develop my own.
Also, particular thanks to Boris Dinkevich, who developed the Chanserv/
Nickserv services.
I won't list the commands not implemented, since there are a lot of (and
I think that I don't know all of them currently).
As a main deviation to most of the servers, there are no x-Lines.
Moreover, an IRC Operator on a server is IRCop on the whole network.
I do not recommend to use this server on a permanent network, since it
doesn't handle a lot of people (maximum connections number was fixed to 25,
but this can be modified by changing the value of %MaxNbConn).
Nevertheless, if you find that a specific comment should be added, send
me a mail. Be patient, but I will answer it.
