will have to set all the needed details. [ You can learn more about the details
later this file]

If you are using mirc5.4 you will have an old style setup ask you questions.
The specs to follow are for the mirc5.4 setup but they apply to the mirc5.5 setup as well.

[ The setup will start automaticly.
If you with to use setup later Press the NO button
and type /MS_Setup any time you are ready to run the setup. ]

You will now be prompted a number of questions.
Each question moves you to the next "stage"

Here is the explanation of each "stage".

(1) Network Name:

The Network name is the name of the network you are connecting to.
Usualy the Network name is the last two string in a servers name.
IE: irc.mystical.net The Network name is: mystical.net

You should specify the right name for services to work properly.

(2) Server Name:

Answer with the name of the server you are connecting to.
It is very important to specify this name correctly or your services
won't connect or work properly.

Services can be connected to only one Server at a time.
Usualy that server will be a HUB and will alow over servers to connect to it,
forming an IRC Network.

If you are connecting services to a server running on the same machine
enter the local host IP number: 127.0.0.1

Note: Masks are NOT allowed.

(3) Port Number:

Upon connection services uses this port number to connect to the server.
It is recomended to use values such as 7779 7780.
It is important that the server you are connecting to will be able to
accept request on that port. Usualy a P-line in that server's IRCD.Conf will be
enough but you should consult the server administrator before and ask
him what port to use.

(4) IP/Address:

Please enter the correct IP address asigned to your machine on the Internet.
If you are connecting services to a server running on the same machine
enter the localhost IP address: 127.0.0.1

Note: Masks are allowed.

(5) Password:

This can basicly be anything.

(6) Expire Check:

Every once in awhile services will run a check to see if any
Nicknames/Channels/Memos have expired.

The value you specify is in secounds. Each interval specified by you
a different Expire check will be made.

Example: If you answer 600 (10mins) then Nickserv-Expire-Check will be run.
After 10mins Chanserv-Expire-Check will be run.
After another 10mins Memoserv-Expire-Check will be run
and after another 10mins Nickserv's again and so on and so on.

Don't make this value to small since the expire checks take alot of
system resources.

(7) Global Noticer:

Global Noticer will Notice a small message to every user joining your network.
It is usualy used to inform users of important news that consern the whole net.

(7.2) Global Noticer's Name:

If you choose "Yes" in questing N7 then you are prompted for the global
noticer's name.

Usualy this name is the name of the network or just "Global"

(Show configuration)

Now you are actualy done !
BUT in case you are the one setting up the server services are going
to connect to press "Yes".

The output shown in a window is the lines you need to add to the
IRCD.Conf file in your servers directory in order for it to accept
services.

Also read the DOCS\ircdex.txt file.

*** Services are now fully configured.

To connect services type: /SC
And services will attempt to connect.

Press: /ShutDown
To close services.

To add CSOPs type: /ADD_CSOP <Nick> (User must be registered with NickServ)
(/Remove_CSOP <nick> to remove CSOPs)

Note: CSOP is a very powerfull mode.
You should only set CSOP users who you can trust with your life !
