Introduction
------------

Q_Check is a highly configurable Auto Away plugin for mIRC that can detect
when a user joins a game server (Quake3: Arena, Unreal Tournament, Half-
Life, Quake2, etc...) via GameSpy. The plugin will automatically set the
user away and announce the name and ip address of the server in a style
similar to:

   * deth has joined: AtlantaGames.net v.405 UT DM...
   * deth is away: -=(Unreal Tournament  63.73.10.130:7777)=- [Since 8:55pm]

Using a simple template, the style of the away message can easily be
changed to match a user's preferences.

The plug-in is easy to install and should work fine with existing scripts.
When a new version of Q_Check becomes available, it will automatically be
detected and the user will be notified and given the option to load the
Q_Check web page.

Installation
------------

Installing and up upgrading Q_Check is a breeze:

   1. download the latest version of Q_Check.

   2. Unzip the files (including q_check.ini) to either your mIRC folder
or some other folder that you have chosen to use for mIRC scripts.

   3. Load the script with the command:

         /load -rs "<[path]filename>"

If q_check.ini is in your mIRC dir, the path is optional, so the
      command could look like:

         /load -rs q_check.ini

...otherwise, you MUST specify the full path, as in:

         /load -rs "c:\mirc\scripts\q_check.ini"

An alternative is use the Tools/Remote/File/Load/Script menu.

When the script loads, mirc will warn you that the script includes
initialization commands and will ask you if you wish to continue.
      Choose "Yes"!

   4. You're done!

Starting Q_Check
----------------

Q_Check will start automatically once the script is installed. From that
point on, the script will load every time you start mIRC.

Note: Q_Check can also be enabled and disabled via the General Settings
tab in the options dialog once the script is installed.
