-----[ Description ]--------------------------------------------

ProjectX Magic 8-Ball is an online 8-ball game, with a bit more
than your average 8-ball game, since you can actually decide if
you want positive, negative or neutral answers, or a mixture of
those three types. This version also recognises different types
of questions, including: Where, When, Why, What, Who, Will, How,
and also gives you a reply if you do NOT supply a question! It
also has 'generic' questions which are used if the question you
entered is not recognised into the mentioned 7 categories...

-----[ Screenshots ]--------------------------------------------

Feel free to stop by the website to view the screenshots, but,
however, if you have gone as far as downloading the addon, you
have most probably no need to see my lousy screenshots! :P

[Screenshot 1]

An example output in a weird colour combination. You can set the
colour-settings to anything you like. There are also different
styles for the output, i.e. < 8-Ball>, or *** 8-Ball *** etc.
etc.

[Screenshot 2]

What the main dialog looks like. See the -[ Features ]- section
for more info about what each part of the dialog's function is.

[Screenshot 3]

An example of how to add a question to the database. First you
must choose the attitude and kind of reply you want to add to
the database. Then, type a phrase, (or counter-question) in the
"reply" box. If the "reply" box is empty, the "Add" button will
be disabled. You can also click on the "View" buttons in this
section to edit, change, or view the separate databases. You can
add %px8ball.nick in the question if you want to supply the name
of the person who asked the question, for example, if the reply
in the database is "What are you doing, %px8ball.nick ?" the
reply willyield "What are you doing, FolkLore ?" if the person
who asked the question has a nickname of 'FolkLore'

-----[ Features ]-----------------------------------------------

You can go to the ProjectX Website by selecting the "ProjectX
Website" option from the popup menu.

[Online Help]

The "Online Help" option will take you to the ProjectX 8-Ball
help page. If the info in this readme-file has been updated, the
updated info will be found there.

[Enhanced Output]

In the main dialog, there are several options. Firstly, the
"Enhanced output" option will toggle between plain and colour-
ful output, you can also specify the colours for the output.
This option is found on the "Options" tab.

[Attitude]

The "Attitude" dropdown list will tell the game what type of
answer you want to your questions, i.e., Positive, Negative,
Neutral, or Random.
This option is found on the "Attitude" tab.

[Database]

The "Database" section of the main window lets you view and add
more responses to the database, if you want to. All you have to
do is to type something in the "Reply" box, select the appro-
priate attitude, (positive, neutral, negative) and which cate-
gory you want to add the question to, i.e. What, Where, When,
Who, How, Will and Why. The option is provided, because certain
answers can go into more than one category, for example "Why do
you want to know?" could fit in ANY category. You can decide
where you want to put it.
These features are found on the "Database" tab.

[Buttons]

The main window also has a few buttons to press. They are:

1. "De-activate" - Use this to disable the game
2. "Activate" - Shows a notice that the game is activated.
3. "Advertise!" - Let everybody know that your 8-ball is activated.
4. "Close" - Duh!

-----[ ProjectX ]-----------------------------------------------

'ProjectX' is a Scripters Crew that focuses on creating scripts,
mainly mIRC-scripts. We do not concentrate on creating full
scripts, but instead creating practical addon scripts for the
lazy IRC-user, protection scripts for the threatened one,
warscripts for the aggressive or vengeance-seeking among us.

We are an organised group of scripters determined to help each
other create, develop, and refine scripts. We bundle our
knowledge, so that our inexperienced scripters may benefit from
our experienced crew-members, and our experienced crew-members
benefit from the enthusiasm and fresh insights from our
newer members. We are not trying to create the 'ULTIMATE'
script, there is no such thing. We concentrate on creating good,
reliable, compatible and useful scripts for mIRC users.
