Installation - Usage - Author - The Files

Installation:

  1. Unzip all the files into your mIRC Directory (e.g. c:\mirc\ or c:\program files\mirc\)
  2. The Directory \MonitorThis\ will be automatically created in the mIRC directory so you get: c:\mirc\MonitorThis\ or c:\program files\mirc\MonitorThis\
  3. If you've unzipped it correctly the directory \MonitorThis\ contains 14 files
  4. Now run mirc32.exe or mirc16.exe and type the following line: /load -rs MonitorThis\mt08.mrc
  5. If Loaded Correctly you'll get a bunch of echoes and the ADDON is loaded correctly !
  6. If NOT: Type in mIRC: //load -rs $mircdirMonitorThis\mr08.mrc (This always works)
  7. If it still doesn't work: Download a newer version of mIRC at http://www.mirc.com

Usage

When you've succesfully completed the Installation Section you can find a bunch of Pop-Ups in the Menubar, let's take a look at them:

Run Small Monitor: When you click on this option a small window will appear anywhere on you desktop, this is how a a a aa a a a a aa a the window looks like:

Window Explanation:

The GREEN LIGHT: When this light blinks someone has given you OP Status, a VOICE or has sent an a a a aa a a a a a aaa a a a a a aaINVITATION to you

The YELLOW LIGHT: This will blink as soon as someone says a text with your nickname in it or when a query window as a a a a a a a a a ais opened

The RED LIGHT: (This is the Aggressive light, things don't go okay when this one blinks)
asndbasndasdb It blinks when: you're KICKED, BANNED, DE-OPPED or DE-VOICED from a Channel !

In the upper right corner you can see a 'X', when you click on this the window will be close

Beneath the 'X' you can find a '_' when you click on it the window will be minimized to the upper right of your desktop screen

The Question mark (?) is obvious I guess...

The C has it's function to clear the results.ini, so you can start with a complete empty list again...

The Arrow pointing UP: To scroll down in the results list, so you can look back at your actions...

The Arrow pointing DOWN: To scroll up in the results list, so you can look back at your actions (only when you've a a a aa a a aaa a a a a a a a clicked the UP ARROW first)

The Files

mt08.mrc = The Script file, see Installation on how to install it
results.ini = This is where the script saves all it's information
actions.ini = Keeps track of all the numbers that are required to run the Info Window

Back.bmp = The Background of the @MonitorThis Window
GreenLight_* = (* = on / off) This is the Green light in the @MonitorThis Window
RedLight_* = (* = on / off) This is the Red light in the @MonitorThis Window
YellowLight_* = (* = on / off) This is the Yellow light in the @MonitorThis Window

Min_off = When you've minimize the @MonitorThis Window, you'll get this BMP in the right corner of your desktop
Min_on = When you click on Min_off
