HTML REFERENCE
--------------
This file is for use with the DOC text reader for Pilot and PalmPilot. Install using the INSTALL.EXE application, as you would any other Pilot application. Begin the DOC program on your Pilot, and the HTML REF file should be included in the list of available DOC textfiles. The sections are already bookmarked for your convenience. The installed file is rather large, about 48K, but there is a lot of material here. The file includes:

1. A glossary of Internet and HTML terms
2. Grouping of HTML tags by Category
3. Alphabetical listing of HTML tags and attributes
4. Appendices, featuring HTML color and character codes
5. Reference & Notes: Sources for the information in the file

Everything should be fairly accurate (although I did find a few typos in the book!!), but I shall not be responsible for results of any incorrect information. If something doesn't seem to work properly, I would appreciate a note, but feel free (and I encourage this) to research it on your own. There are many great books about HTML and the Internet available at your local bookstore.

Any questions, corrections, or feedback should be directed to me at bhuggs@juno.com or visit the following Web site:

UPDATE: 09/14/97
I updated the text to add some tags that I wasn't previously aware of. Several of these are either Netscape or Internet Explorer-specific.
Also I added a new file with CSS1 Style Sheet specifications. The file is also available on the Microsoft web site. I transformed it for use on the PalmPilot. It shows 16k on my PalmPilot.

UPDATE: 08/23/97
I have included the text version of this doc in this zip file. I had some requests from people who wanted to remove the table of contents, etc. I have no problem with this, but I put a lot of work into it, so if you change anything, I'd appreciate some credit, and an email copy of the text (Please don't send the .prc file, as my Juno account is ascii text only. Just send the text, if you would, to bhuggs@juno.com) Thanks!
