Address+ v.2 Beta by Paul Taylor
--------------------------------

WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 0.2?
--------------------------
Made it so that when you copy a record, it no longer copies the name of the
person who's record you used as a "template" to copy from.
Also, added a feature to quickly toggle between sort modes. See below for
instructions on use.

ADDRESS+ FEATURES
-----------------
Address+ is a drop in replacement for the standard address book. Load it
into your pilot, and reassign your address book button by going to your
preferences. From then on, it will act like your address book did when you
hit it's button.

The main additional feature Address+ has is one that I thought was a
serious deficiency in the original address book - The ability to copy
a record to a new record. This is especially useful if you use your pilot
primarily for business contacts, as a good portion of info for one company
will be true for several of your contacts from that company. (Company name,
address, city and state, as well as work number, except for the extension,
possibly)

To use this feature, simply View the record you wish to copy, then press the
"Copy to New" button, in the bottom right hand corner. You will then be
placed in the Edit screen for your new record. The new record will be
exactly like the old, except the name fields are blank, as this info is VERY
likely to have changed. Just add the name, and change other info as
appropriate, hit done, and your new record will be sorted into the address
book.

The other additional feature is what I call a "Quick Toggle" mode, for the
sort order of your database. Occasionally, you may forget the name of a
contact at a particular company, but know which company he works for. Just
hit the menu bar, options, and "TOGGLE SORT ORDER", or (the FAST way) the
graffiti shortcut "/T". In seconds (if you have a LARGE database), it will
change your preference in the Address Book, and redisplay the list, in newly
sorted order.

OPPS - I ACCIDENTALLY HIT "COPY TO NEW"
---------------------------------------
Currently, there is no "Abort" button to get out of editing a newly copied
record. This isn't a problem, though, as the pilot doesn't care if you have
multiple records with the same info. Just delete the duplicate records..
Go to the view screen for one of the duplicate records, hit menu, then
delete record. Simplicity!

DELETING ADDRESS+
-----------------
No problems deleting the current version. Just delete it as you would any
other program.

FUTURE FEATURES FOR ADDRESS+
----------------------------
I don't have too many in mind! Thats where you, the user, come in...
Currently, the only feature I am considering is the following:

Additional sorting methods (By First Name, etc.)

CONTACTING THE AUTHOR
---------------------
Please contact me, whether you like the program or not... I love to find out
what people think of my programs. (What I can do to improve them, what you
like and dislike about them, etc.)

If you have ideas for additional features for the address book, feel free to
let me know. I may just be able to incorporate them in Address+.

HISTORY
-------
.2 Beta - Made it so that when copying a record, it doesn't copy the name
and added the Quick Toggle of Sorting modes feature.

.1 Beta - Renamed to Address+ and fixed previously found bugs, listed below.

.1 Beta - Originally known as EZ Address.. Had one BIG bug and a couple of
annoyances. The BIG bug was that if you issued a Find command
while not running EZ Address, it would give a Fatal Error. The
other things were that it was set up to replace the Address Book,
completely - It "became" address book. This was bad because if you
ever deleted EZ Address, it would also delete your address info.
(It was easy enough to hot-sync again, but a pain!)

LEGALEZE
--------
This program is free. Remember you get what you pay for! There are no
warranties as to the reliability of this program. You, the user, take the
total risk and responsibility by loading this program on your pilot and
agree to hold Paul Taylor harmless of any damage that might result. The
only thing this program is guaranteed to do is to take up memory on your
pilot. (Actually, I take that back too!)
