This program gives you every one variable statistic that the 85 does plus

many more such as median and mode.

This program will figure out the one variable statistics for the xStat

variable. But you say the TI-85 already does this. Well this program does

what the 85 does and more. This program will also give you the minimum,

lower quartile, median, upper quartile, maximum, range, variance,

interquartile range, any outliers, and the mode. If the TI-85 is hooked up

to the TI-GRAPH LINK cable and the TI-GRAPH LINK software is running it

will also send a picture of the two screens of statistics that it has. To

have it give these stats type in your data into the xStat variable and run

STATS. You will then be asked if you want to do a transformation. Type a

zero if you do not want the data transformed. If you want to do a

transformation enter it like this: operator value. If you want to add 100

to all the data values, you would type "+100" (without the quotation

marks)

and so on. Do not type any frequencies into your yStat variable because

they will just be erased and you will be given wrong answers.
