Phnum 1.0 - A cool telephone organizer for your TI-85

This is the first manual I have ever tried to write, so its really crappy.

Its sort of a tutorial, so you should read it with calculator in hand.



First of all, Phnum needs to initialize some variables.

From the menu, push F4 for "more". Then push F3 to "reset" the variables that

contain the data on all the phone numbers and stuff. In this case you are not

really resetting them, but creating them. Phmnum should ask "Are you sure you

want to erase all your phone numbers?!?" answer "Y" (alpha Y).

Now that the variables were created, you can look at the phone numbers that

have been inputed. Push F2 for "Browse" so you can look at the phone numbers.

Since you just reset the variables, the only phone number that should be there

is "Texas Instruments". You can scroll with the up and down arrows, and to

exit to the main menu, push exit. F1 adds new phone numbers, it will prompt

for a name and a phone number. To delete phone numbers, "browse" until you get

to the phone number you want to delete and exit to the menu. push the delete

menu key and phnum will ask you if you really want to delete the selected

number. answering with a "Y" will delete it, anything else will abort.

The search function searches for the prefix you type in, then  displays the

first record found.
