Stratega v1.0

Thank-you for trying the second program that we have put on the Net.
We hope you enjoy it and have many fun hours playing it with your friends.

   To play this game:
1. Install the group file, stratega.92g, on your calculator. It should put every thing in the STRATEGA folder.

2. Find someone else to play with you. You need two calculators and a transfer cable for the game to work. The game must be installed on both calculators before you can play.

3. Switch to the STRATEGA folder and run STRATEGA().

4. Read the Instructions. The game is pretty self-explanatory (assuming you have played the board-game Stratego before) and everything else you need to know should be mentioned in the program.

5. Both calculators must be connected when the game tells you so. If not, the game won't work correctly.

6. If a link transmission error occurs: press esc, and then run STRATEGA() again. The game should still function properly from here.

7. Have fun!

This game has undergone many hours of rigorous play-testing. We are fairly certain that there are no bugs in the program. There are, however, certain things that are messed up that we can't (nor do we want to) fix. The game is programmed to recognize when you have no moveable pieces left, and will end the game when this happens. However, it does not know that if you have moveable pieces surrounded by unmovable pieces, these pieces cannot move. We can't fix this, so don't do anything stupid to cause this. To quit the game at any time, press (diamond)+(escape). This will cause both calculators to quit the game so this does not need to be done on both calcs.
