KEEPOUT 2.5 11/30/96
By Tim Gerla, timg@climax.polaristel.net

Well, here it is. A password protection system for the TI-92!

**************************
*DEFAULT PASSWORD: 'timg'*
**************************

Please use caution when using this program, it
can render your calculator unusable if you forget
the password!

------
Well, the menu should be pretty easy to figure out, but I'll
explain it anyway.

F1: Protect Calculator
This shuts off the calculator, and when it is turned back
on, it asks for the password.

F2: Change Password
This lets you change the password. Type in the new word, but
you won't see what you are typing. TYPE VERY CAREFULLY! Otherwise
your calculator must be reset. When you are done, press [enter].
If you mess up, press [ESC]. You can now enter the new password again!

F3: Options
Pressing this brings you to another menu that lets you change
a few options. Here they are:

        F1:
Lets you personalize the password request screen.
Add your name to let people know whose calculator
        they are messing with.

        F2:
Changes the timeout value in the main menu. When the
calculator counts to 0, it automaticlly protects the
calc and shuts it off. The number shown is approximate
seconds. [UP] and [DOWN] to change the value, and [ENTER] to
finish. Notice that the timeout value is in hexadecimal.

F4: Exit (both menus)
Hmm...

F5: About
        Shows program information

-------------

Things to do:
Maybe a cute little animation in the about screen... If it
does not take up much space.

Anyone have any ideas?

Please contact me if you have any problems or suggestions!
