Anyway, to play this one, you need all of these files: CASINO CGET CSHUFFLE CDRAW BJ POKER These programs will use L4 and L5, as well as matrix [A] and a some real vars so be sure to backup important data... This is my first foray into card games, but I love 'em! TO play, run CASINO. Choose NEW GAME from the menu and wait for the cards to shuffle. Then enter your bet, choose a game, and you're in business! These games are perfect for those of us who own a TI-82 but sometimes wish it was an 85. Game play uses the 'funciton keys' ("Y=" through "GRAPH") for input. In BlackJack, the object is to close to 21 without going over. Face cards count as 10, and an ace is either 11 or 1. Press "Y=" to hit (receive another card) and "WINDOW" to stand (not receive any more cards). If you beat the dealer without busting (going over 21) you win the amount you bet. If you get BLACKJACK (21) you win twice your bet. For Video Poker, I assume you are familiar with the workings of this game. You are not playing against anybody, just trying to get the best hand you can. Use the top 5 keys to choose your 'discards' and then the computer will tell you how much you win (i.e. 5:1 or 2500:1, etc.). Since I have never played _real_ video poker, I don't know if these values are correct. Note: if you do not hold a card higher than a jack in your hand you will not win for a single pair. As always, I am hoping that there are a few of you out there generous enough to send me a few bucks for my work. I am a high school junior who is borrowing his teacher's TI-82 and link cable so he can send you these cool programs he thinks up during boring classes. Remember, school ends in <2 weeks, and after that if I don't have a TI-82, I cannot write any more programs :(. However, my teacher has agreed to allow me some access to the link should I obtain an 82 before next year.
