Architectural Units Version 1.0

	This summer, I was lucky enough to get a job that had anything to do with my major, mechanical engineering. I was doing a lot of drafting with AutoCAD and I realized that every engineering firm seems to use architectural units in their drawings. Unfortunately, distances entered into AutoCAD must be in inches. So when I went to change a beam elevation by 53.4375 inches, I had to push a plethora of buttons. Alas, I got fed up and wrote this code. All the engineers at the office love it.

	Like everybody else that writes code for these things, I'll tell you to backup your memory before installing it. I tried really hard to get this right, but I can't be held responsible for anything that goes wrong. I wish I could say that more often.

	To install the library:
1. Transfer it to your HP.
2. Store it in a port by:
* recalling it to the stack ('AUV1.0' ENTER RCL)
* deleting the variable ('AUV1.0' ENTER PURGE)
* storing it in a port X, where x is the port number you want it in (:X:1000 ENTER STO)
* Turn the calculator off and back on

	To use it:
1. Store a variable called "prec" (note the lowercase) in your home directory. This variable defines the precision with which feet will be calculated, i.e. it's the denominator.
2. Press "AU" in your library menu.
3. The buttons tell what you have first, and what you want second.

	Input and output (this is also in online help):
1. Feet are always entered as four digits.
* 1'-0 0/0" would be entered as 1 0 0 0
2. Inches and meters are entered as one number
* 12" would be entered as 12
* 1 m would be entered as 1

	This library runs fine on my 48GX Version R and it should run on the S/SX family.

	Oh, I forgot one thing, the use of this software encurs a large monetary fee. First of all, you have to spend a whopping 32 cents on a postage stamp (God only knows what inflation will do to that number in a few weeks). In addition, you must write a letter (seriously, try my email first) telling me about what you think of the software, thanks, etc. Failure to comply will result in the software police banging your door down like they do in a drug bust on "COPS"; and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. NOT! Send stuff to:
