The OBC is sending null (80H) characters to the 145.825 MHz downlink at 1200 bps and operators at UoS have been working to restore the OBC software using the UHF uplink, but without success - thus far. Sorry for this interruption to UO-11 operations, we are doing our best to restore normality but it looks as though it may take us a while. In the meantime, Craig Underwood has been using the UO-11 downlink to assemble statistics on the BER to assist in the design of UoSAT-C! 73, Martin G3YJO Posted: Sat Dec 5, 1987 11:50 AM CST Msg: JGIH-3262-3642 From: MSWEETING To: AMSAT Subj: UO-9 Operations Notice Following a request from Leonid Labutin, UA3CR, the published UoSAT-1 schedule has been changed to support continuous DIGITALKER transmissions on 145.825 MHz NBFM during training in Canada for the Trans-Polar Ski Trek due to take place early next year. UO-9 will be transmitting synthesised speech telemetry until 101287. Whilst it is anticipated that the support for this expedition will use the UO-11 DIGITALKER, UO-9 is being used whilst problems with the UO-11 OBC software are being resolved. Reception reports would be welcome. 73 Martin G3YJO
