This software is copyrighted. However, it (both source and binary) are
freely copyable for NON-COMMERICAL AMATEUR RADIO USE ONLY. For ANY other
use, contact the author.

This software will allow you to get on 1200 baud packet radio with minimal
hardware. You will need:

	- a PC with a parallel port
	- a UHF/VHF radio
	- a modem (interface details and references in the documentation)
	- this software

You will need a modem before you can do much with this program. The current
version hangs the machine if no modem is plugged in so you can't even get
in and play around.

This disk or archive should contain the following files:

	READ.ME This file
	PMP.EXE Main program
	PMP.CFG Configuration file
	PMPTEST.EXE	Test and alignment utility
	PMP.DOC Program documentation

The documentation (PMP.DOC) can be printed by dumping it to your printer:

	COPY PMP.DOC PRN

The documentation contains installation, configuration, and modem interface
details but is by no means complete. You will discover several nifty
undocumented features if you read the source.

This is a beta test version of this software and documentation. Please
