NY 04-12-88 10:36 Taegan, I even once converted a console and interfaced it with my ZX-81 Sinclair ( remember them) using opto-isolators.It worked ok but wasnt very reliable and I had to devote the Sinclair to it. At that time or a little later the coco x-10 was 100 bucks. I think I might have a schematic for the coco x-10 , I'll have to look . If you need it let me know. NY 04-12-88 11:32 Reply - 19750 Taegan, just looked and have no scematic , but I have the pinout of the coco cassette port which is where the x-10 plugs in. It is not a serial port. Are you talking about a differtent type of x-10 maybe for tandy 1000"s & up. Anyway here are the pinouts. 1- Remote for cassette motor 2- Signal Ground 3- Remote for cassette motor 4- Audio input 5- Audio output Taegan, I hope this help's but this port can not be connected to a serial port, these are line level audio signals. You could probably make an interface ahead of audio stages but it probably isn't worth it. If youre friend had an X-10 for a Tandy 1000 series then it's probably a serial type. Ron
