I couldn't help but notice this conversation on my favorite game, DOOM. I can tell you, if you don't have the registered version of DOOM, you'll never see either the Plasma Gun or the BFG 9000, that's the way that Id sent it out. As for help in the game, try typing the following while playing: iddqd God Mode idkfa Very Happy Ammo (100% health - 200% armour full ammo on all weapons with no pack :( idbehold l Light Amplification s bezerk mode a reveal all maps idclev## warp where ## is episode number (1-3) then level number (1-9) idchoppers Chainsaw Have fun... IDDT - when in map mode, typing this once will complete the map, typing it again will show all the "actives" and typing it once more will clear the above info. IDSPISPOPD - "No Clipping" This mode allows you to walk through walls, doors, and other inanimate objects. Also useful if you fall into a pit you can't otherwise climb out of. Fun, when you walk into a room, monsters won't always notice you right away, so you can blow their #%$*&)@ heads off! Typing it again will turn it off, just make sure you aren't "inside" a wall when you do, otherwise you'll be "stuck" in place. In reference to the other keys, IDKFA will also give you all 3 door keycards Happy DOOMing, Al. >* OLX 1.51 * Smith and Wesson: Faster than 911! --- FastEcho/386 B1130 * Origin: Quantum Leap Victoria BC (604)595-4407 [HST/V.32bis] (1:340/30) Ä VIC.CHATTER (1:340/26) ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ VIC.CHATTER Ä Msg : 44 of 44 From : Alan Layard 1:340/30 16 Jan 94 14:18:00 To : Owen Salava 16 Jan 94 15:45:40 Subj : Doom ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ .TID: FastEcho B1130 7002 ..On Jan 14/94 Owen Salava spat out the following to my message... As for the map thing, the >display of items really shows you nothing useful. Clipping? It was fun for a >while in Wolf 3D, but has lost it now, for me anyways. Well, even though it might've seemed inappropriate to you, others may appreciate knowing this info. After all, it's all fun and games so why shouldn't everyone know ALL the rules? OS> > In reference to the other keys, IDKFA will also give you all 3 door > > keycards OS>Correction: They are the three skeleton keys, hence the shape of a skull! :- Ooops, pardon me, a typo. The point is they do the same thing as the keycards, that is open doors! At the risk of telling you something else that you might already know, I found a total of 6 variations with IDBEHOLD. Three that you pointed out, plus: R - Radiation Suit, I - Partial Invisibility, and V - Invin- cibility (white screen) Happy DOOMing!
