OK, so here's the yet unanswered question - how do you tell if a server is
split from the rest of the IRC servers? Once this is answered, the rest is
rather minor. I also have some other as yet unanswered questions.
How do you hack the server for ServerOp status?
How do you make the server split?
How do you make the server reconnect?
How long does it take to reconnect?
How do you keep from being kicked from the channel when you're on? Do a
/Dkick?
Thanks for responding to this post, those of you who choose to. I have found
some of the info in the FAQ sadly lacking in clarity, and this is one of them.

What is parity stripping? And how do i enable it?
I know it clears up connections, making them legible (like in toneloc you can
choose parity stripping)...but how can i activate it via an AT command (or can
i?)..

What's the frequency of the strobe used by fire trucks/ambulances/etc.
to turn lights green? I have built a nice little device but I can't
get it to work always because I don't know the exact freq.; I just
sort of dial it around.
Is there a better place to ask this question?
