African American Forum Opens

  Discuss current events and cultural issues pertaining to African Americans in
the new African American Art and Culture Forum, sponsored by American Visions,
the official magazine of the African American Museums Association. Message
section and library topics include calendar of events, art, music, cuisine,
history, travel, books, genealogy, education and more. Also, interact with
American Visions staff in Section 14, "Talk to AmVisions." American Visions
plans to provide images of African American art in the forum as well as to
sponsor educational development projects and hold contests for aspiring artists,
writers, programmers and musicians, with the goal of becoming the most
comprehensive African American cultural reference resource available.
