This is an article from 2600 the magazine, and it tells how to go about building magnetic stripe readers, reader-writers, and ISO specs on how the information is stored and divided on each track on cards.
This file was initially scanned in and stored as 4 page sized .JPG's but I am about 2/3 the way through converting it to speed up the page. I have transcribed all the text in the article (It is the first part of the page) and the second half of the page contains links to the 4 images as I scanned them in. I will be extracting the schematics from the pages and embedding them in the article in the correct places in the next couple weeks. So, until that time, it'll be sort of a mess.
