This directory contains the Geomview manual and various other pieces
of documentation.

NOTE: In addition to the PostScript and Info copies of the manual
here, a dvi version is available separately via ftp from geom.umn.edu
in the file "manual.tar.Z" in the "software/pub/geomview/pieces"
directory. This may be useful for on-line viewing with a dvi
previewer.

geomview.ps:
Printer-ready PostScript copy of the manual. It's roughly 125
pages and contains figures, so it may take a while to print.

geomview,geomview-*
The GNU Info versions of the manual. You can install these in
	your GNU Emacs Info tree.

example*.c:
Sample external modules. These are described in the manual.
example1.c should work on any architecture since it has no user
interface. However, example2.c and example3.c depend on the FORMS
library which is only available on SGIs. Hopefully we will have
more examples in the future that work with the X11 and NeXTstep
	versions of Geomview.

oogltour:
A quick tour through the sorts of geometry which are supported
	by OOGL.

OOGL.m.doc:
	Documentation for the Mathematica-to-Geomview conversion
packages. This is excerpted from the manual.

newsletter_article:
An article that appeared in an issue of the Geometry Center
newsletter announcing the first release of Geomview, in
	January of 1991.
