(B[1"zDon't want to read the manual?[1"z
If you don't want to read the 50+ pages of documentation
(especially the Terms and Conditions), there are some
items you should know in order to use the program.

We do not use a standard AmigaDOS interface. While this
program was developed on and for the Amiga, there were
certain aspects of the operating system which did not
support our ideas about how the software should work when
we developed the original interface back in 1986.

There are no pull-down menus. The operations available
at any level are displayed in gadgets at the bottom of
the screen which correspond to the function keys.

Most text gadgets and requesters are custom. They do not
allow standard Amiga style operators (such as Ctrl-X to
erase the text, or cursor movement within the gadget).
We developed these gadgets so that the user could cancel
an operation which requested text input without having to
use the mouse. We are looking into a more Amiga-fied
group of requesters that will still support our needs.

Hot Keys are provided which work at most levels. Display
them by pressing the [1"z<Help>[1"z key.

The [1"z<Alt><Help>[1"z hot key combination provides context
  sensitive help at most screens.

[1"zDefinition of `Select' and `Exit[1"z'
`Select' an operation or menu by placing the cursor over
the gadget and clicking the left mouse button, or by
pressing the function key associated with the screen
  gadget.

`Exit' allows you to cancel most pending operations or to
move to the parent menu. You may Exit with the <Escape>
key or by placing the cursor over the IFK gadgets and
pressing the right mouse button. Those few functions
which can't be exited, such as when Training a Trace,
require pressing the right mouse button to step back to
the beginning of the operation before the <Escape> key
  will work.

[1"zTutorial[1"z
The Tutorial section provides a step-by-step guide to
laying out simple and moderately complex PCBs, as well as
creating a PLCC device. It will familiarize you with the
power and features of Pro-Board in a straightforward
  manner.

[1"zPrinting the Demo's manual[1"z
The manual has already been formatted for an ASCII dump
to a dot-matrix printer with a continuous sheet feeder
   (tractor feed).

Adjust the Printer margins to 1 and 85 (the Printer
section Preferences for AmigaDOS V1.3 or lower and the
   Printer program under AmigaDOS V2+).
