For those who keep tabs on VR in the (U.S.) mainstream media, Lisa
Simpson (Bart's sister on Fox's _The Simpsons_) has joined the elite
group of cartoon characters who have experienced VR (others include
Darkwing Duck and Batman).

On the Jan 14th episode, Lisa briefly visted Ghangis Khan (sp?)  by
wearing a VR helmet at school.
