Subject: LEGAL: Epilepsy health warnings

Australian news organisations are today (14/1/93) reporting that
Nintendo has announced that health warnings will be printed on all
products.

The reports say that the video games induce epilepsy in about 10%
of sufferers, with varying subsequent symptoms. However the reports
emphasise that only people already having some degree of epilepsy are
affected.

The fact that Nintendo is going to print it on their products 
(a la cigarette packets' ``Smoking will kill you'' messages) seems to
indicate that there may be some serious legal problems involved if 
they do not do so.
