For those who cannot get enough VR literature here are two more
recently published articles on VR.


"No Guts, No Galaxy"
_Computer Gaming World_, Feb 1993

A good history of the Battletech Center in Chicago.  While not an
immersive, headgear type of VR system like Dractal Nightmare,
Battletech falls into the VR type of entertainment through the amount
of detail and interaction provided.  In a sentence I would describe it
as "Photon meets Harddriving."

_New Media_ January 1993 issue contains a series of articles on VR.
"Virtual Reality Gets Real."  "Anatomy of a Cybernaut."  "NASA's
Virtual Reality."  "Invasion of the Digital Puppets."  and "3-D
Sound."  _New Media_ is sort of a _Computer Graphics World_ for people
on a budget.

Both of these should be available at your local newstand.
