Try to check out the work of Prof. Bates at Carnegie-Mellon (hope this
is right...). They are working on a project called Oz. You can find
more details on the first issue of Presence, or on the (wonderful)
book Computers as Theatre by Brenda Laurel (Addison-Wesley).  This is
more interactive theatre than fiction, anyway...
