This is the information that I was sent by Jeremy Thompson, Editor of the
directory (100113.2636@compuserve.com):

The 'International Directory of VR R&D' is due to be published by
Meckler in early 1993 with the aim of disseminating accurate
information on research being undertaken worldwide into aspects of VR
technology and applications. The project is being supported by some of
the key researchers in the field, including IST Florida, MIT, NASA,
ARRL UK and HITL Washington.

I believe information re availability, ordering etc. will be
forthcoming once the directory is printed. Right now I think they're
flat out doing so.
