However, if you have a will to read/see an article written in Japanese
language with some photographs and diagrams, the following article is a
very detailed technical report on Visortron:

    "Sony's HMD trial product: a preliminary move into home video market"
    NIKKEI ELECTRONICS 1993.1.4(no.571) pp 119-124

On this HMD issue, I have met Sony's persons from the Consumer Video Planning 
section at the end of last year. They have almost NO interest in VR application
of their HMD, though they do know that VR community has much interest in
such a device.
