In attempts to put together another proposal, I learned of some
new developments at Virtus Corp.

First, they have very good educational discounts.  For $250 you get
the Walkthrough software and a collection of 3D clip art, a total
of about $750.  You can also purchase their Voyager package for $49
rather than $99.  Voyager allows you to distribute run time versions
of your world.

Second, they told me that they will be releasing a Windows version
within the next few weeks.  The educational discounts also apply to
this package.

Third, texture mapping is in store for the next upgrade.
