Date: Thu, 25 Feb 93 15:09:27 PST I've read that the cockpit displays in jet fighters and the like are projected such that they can be seen clearly if the pilot looks off into the distance (i.e., the pilot doesn't have to focus on the cockpit window). How is that done? Is it just a matter of using lenses of the appropriate curvatures, or is there something trickier going on? -Steve
