From: ZACHEM%STETSON.BITNET@uwavm.u.washington.edu Subject: HELP?: How to attract investors? Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1993 23:10:14 CST I know that alot of you out there are very interested in VR, but do not have access to the equipment. As was my case, until recently. I have been sending brochures to local investors trying to explain to them why VR is a good investment, especially if it is made now, while it is still in it's infancy. Several investors have replied to ,my brochures, but fail to see the urgency of this investment. I have tried to explain, that now VR is fairly new, but with the next couple of years, we will see sv everal 3'rd party VR applications hitting the open market, that is why I feel that now is the time... I have a group of programmers/artists/nuts assembled, and ready to go. We've got lots of ideas on the drawing boards, but are lacking the Hardware (HMD) (Glove) (High end Pc's). We have put together the pricing on a basic system that we would need at about 38,000 bucks. which I dont really see as much, for what it could bring in the future. Anyhow.. what I wan from You...................... I need articles, information, anything that I could use to persuade the investors to do it now! Also if anyone knows of any investors.. All info needs to be sent directly to my E-Mail Adress ZACHEM@STETSON this is a BITNET adress. Anyone who can produce that info that will persuade these guys, or other ones to shell out for a system, will me more than welcome to come play once I get it set up... as a matter of fact, If I get this set up, all readers of this list are welcome to come and use my equip...... thanks for any help......
