The March 1993 Scientific American reviews *three* eyephone
systems about to come to market- Virtual Vision (USA), Vistatron
(SONY) and the Gogglevox (?).  The intial market will be portable
television.  The current TVs have too small screens for many
viewers and the eye-screens will simulate a 60" TV.
Virtual Vision has 9K pixels and weighs five ounces.
They may have something in the stores by the end of 1993
for about $900.
