well ok, i'm a new recruit to the VR scene, but i've got LOTS of
enthusiasm about all this, so here's a question, what software IS
there that i can use to experiment for starters with my IBM?
how about 3d-studio or autodesk animator?  virtual reality studio from
domark/accolade sure isnt very hi-tech, but it lets you get used to
drawing in 3d-
can anyone mention what kind of software/hardware was used to create
the effects shown in "the lawnmower man" or "terminator 2" or perhaps
the peter gabriel video "Steam"?
