While at the SU VR lab we were visited by 2 doctors from California
( I think the same people you mention ) who showed an amazing video
tape of their work with EMG devices.

One part showed a small child that could control a smiley face's
motion across a computer screen with eye movements, and another showed
a man creating music by moving different parts of his arm. The
Doctors were very excited about using this to help the disabled and as
an aid for physical therapy.

In addition, the Doctors were also using a dataglove system to track
how patients with hand injuries progressed.
