The HMD display is built from the viewfinders from two sony camcorders.
It was custom built by Joe Deardon, a contractor. It is B/W. The group
had a new HMD built by Bill Polhemus that it color. It uses a fiber
optic transmition system. It is a nice concept. The fibers do cause a
"bricking" problem which is funky.
