Two good places to look for user interface papers related to Virtual
Reality are:

1) ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology (UIST)

2) CHI

Both of these conferences are sponsored by ACM and their proceedings
can be ordered from ACM.  Over the past few years both of these
conference have had a session of VR, and the papers tend to be
technical in nature.
