I recal sseeing advertised a box which has one VGA input and serveral 
outputs and box would map parts of the VGA input to the various output 
monitors.  With a system like you could:

1. Build a video wall like they have at the trade shows (a wall full of
monitors all making up one image)

2. send various windows of info to different monmitors for a multi-monitor
set up, or

3. map a left and right eye view to two little lcd's and all your
program would have to do in reality is draw the views side-by-side on
your regular display!

Has anyone heard of this?
